6. Break Away
“I love you” he said. Then why was she imprisoned like this?
“You’ll like it here with me,” he said. Then why was she weeping?
“It may hurt, but it’s for your own good. Pain never lasts anyway.” Then why didn’t her heartache stop?
“If you love me so much, let me go,” she said. But he refused. “The world is too dangerous for you, my love,” he said.
Then why did he seem more dangerous than the world?
She was the caged bird, trying to fly. Yet, her 'owner' was restraining her.
All she wanted… was to break away…
